Lash Extension After Care
EYELASH EXTENSION AFTERCARE TIPS
- Avoid touching your lashes for at least 3 hours.

Avoid steam from showers, saunas, steam irons, cooking and any other steam producing situations for the first 24 hours.

Do not use a lash curler. It will crimp the lash extension.

Do not cleanse skin in the shower.

Do not put your face directly into the shower stream.

Never wear waterproof mascara.

Most clients do not feel the need to wear mascara. If you do, wait after the first 24 hours. Applying mascara will contribute to lash loss.

Be extra careful with your lashes. No rubbing or pulling. Be careful when pulling clothing over your head.

After sleeping, you need to brush your lashes with the disposable mascara wand provided to you.

Do NOT Use OIL/LANOLIN based eye make up removers. Also keep moisturiser and sunscreen away from lashes.

To clean eye makeup off, we advise purchasing the eye makeup remover pads as these are the best way to remove makeup without damaging the lashes.

Alternatively cleanse eye area using your fingertips, using gentle downward strokes as facial wipes and cotton wool pads place lint onto lashes, which become stuck.

Do not perm or tint lashes.
WHAT TO DO DURING ALLERGIC REACTIONS?

If you have eye allergies or feel sensitivity purchase an allergy based eye drop from the chemist. This assists in your eyes getting used to the product.

An allergic reaction is rare and generally occurs after sleeping or after 12 hours (which ever is first). In the rare event that you experience an allergic reaction, which is easily identified by severe swelling and redness. Please contact the salon, as removal of lashes is necessary. It takes ½ hour with a gentle glue remover to avoid any damage to your natural lashes.

Try to avoid any contact with your lashes for the first 24 hours.
